We Are Young

Time Spent: 20 Minutes
Activity: Biking
Distance: 4 Miles
Next Goal: 25 Minutes, 5 Miles
Long Term: Maintain 45 minute work out -
Distance Goal: 10 miles in 30 minutes
Next Goal Date: January 10th

I just did about a 21 minute bike ride and I think I'm starting to get where people get that "energy" from. I was exhausted, but I felt like I could be doing more. So much, I think I'll go back and do more.

I jointed LoseIt.com - I have the app on my phone as well it's helping me keep track of exercise and food I consume. This should make me more aware of what I eat.

On a side note, I have amazing family and friends who have been so supportive. I appreciate all the comments and encouragement, it's definitely a hard and daunting task and I want so much to be able to hug all of you. Thank you.

  1. I like the blog. I'd follow it, but you don't have that option available. But I'll keep checking it out.

  2. Trevor- We'll I'm not sure how to add the follow feature, however I noted that there was a link that said "Follow" in the tool bare area towards the top of the page. Either way, I've checked and followed you! :)

  3. Keep yourself at the point where you feel like you could do a little more still if you really pushed yourself, but don't actually push yourself to do that. You will be able to maintain a consistant level of activity over an extended period of time that way, and actually be more effective.

  4. Hey there Jenn :) I am so happy you're finding that energy! Are you planning anything ahead for your workouts? Or are you just going day by day? i was doing a 30 day workout thing. It worked for the 30 days then I didn't plan anything else and it fell apart. What motivates you?

  6. Jess - I'm doing a 4 days a week work out plan. I work out Monday/wed/friday/saturday - Because Tues/Thursday are my long days at school/work and I can't be tired by 7PM (Because Im still in class!) But Sunday is my Veg, eat "what I want" within reason and then back to the grind on Monday. It has only really been a week... But I feel confident.

Peggy - THANK YOU! Love you also! Hopefully 50+lbs by Summer.

  7. Also, I only do about 20 minutes a day, plus regular activity - I know eventually I will have to ramp this up, but I'm doing this slowly. Its a moderate bike ride in the morning, and walking during the day. Plus stairs. Did you know you can burn calories by writing? Weird. (hand writing I assume)
